Product Introduction

The GYFXTY outdoor optical cable is a high-performance, non-armored fiber optic cable designed for outdoor aerial and duct applications. Built with advanced FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) reinforcement and a robust loose tube structure, it ensures reliable signal transmission even in harsh environmental conditions. With a compact design (7.2mm diameter) and lightweight construction (45±2kg/km), it simplifies installation while delivering long-term durability.

Cable Structure

The GYFXTY cable features a layered design optimized for protection and performance:

  1. Fibers: 2-12 optical fibers (single-mode or multimode) for flexible capacity needs.
  2. Loose Tube: Made of high-strength PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) with an outer/inner diameter of Ф2.2mm, housing fibers and filled with water-resistant compound.
  3. Water Blocking Layer: Wrapped with water-blocking tape, Kevlar yarn, and E-glass yarn to prevent water ingress and enhance structural integrity.
  4. FRP Strength Members: Two parallel FRP rods on both sides of the loose tube, providing tensile and bending resistance.
  5. Outer Sheath: Durable PE (Polyethylene), LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), or Nylon material with a diameter of 1.8±0.2mm, offering UV and corrosion resistance.
